Alison Warrick (Ali)
Ali began yoga in 2012 as a supplement to her exercise regimen to gain flexibility and release tension and soreness. After being injured training for an athletic competition, she searched for a gentler way to find physical health. She began a more regular yoga practice to help heal her body and fell in love with both the physical asanas and the emotional/spiritual aspects of yoga. In 2013, soon after discovering the benefits of a daily practice, she enrolled in a Yoga Teacher Training at Thames Street Yoga in Newport, RI. She is now a 200 RYT, certified in Matrika Prenatal Yoga, Children’s Yoga, and holds CEU's in Mom and Baby Yoga as well as being an ISSA Elite Trainer (Personal Trainer and Specialist in Nutrition and Exercise Therapy). Ali teaches a vinyasa style flow that can be modified for all levels of practice with a focus on alignment and mindful movement. She identifies herself as both a teacher and student of yoga and hopes to grow alongside of her students through sharing the practice.
